SIA Level 2 Door Supervision

Conflict management & physical intervention is a 4 days course divided into 4 different units:

Unit 1: Working in the Private Security Industry.
Unit 2: Working as a Door Supervisor within the Private Security Industry.
Unit 3: Conflict Management within the Private Security industry.
Unit 4: Physical Intervention Skills within the Private Security Industry.

On the last day of the course, there will be exams and a practical assessment.

Exams and practical assessments can be a scary prospect for people, Hartmann Training understand that and that is why Hartmann Training want to reassure you that everything needed to know to pass the exam and practical assessment is covered in the course. Hartmann Training instructor is an expert in the subject and has over 14 years working in the Private Security Industry. You will be fully prepared for the tests.


Q: I would like to work as a Security Guard, is this course the right course for me?

Yes. The SIA level 2 Door Supervision will cover the subject knowledge required to become a Security Guard. If you only take the Security Guard course, you will only be able to apply for a Static Guard licence. The SIA level 2 Door Supervision will allow you to apply for a Door Supervision Licence which will not only enable you to work as a Security Guard in the UK but also be more employable. You will be able to work events too.

Q: What are the benefits of completing the SIA level 2 Door Supervision Course?

Completing this course will enable you to apply for the recognised SIA Door Supervision Licence and allow you to work as a Security Guard and/or Door Supervisor in the UK as well as Event security for concerts, festivals, sports ground.

Q: The course is over 4 days, but I can only do certain days due to other commitments.

Not a problem. Hartmann Training understand that you may have commitments getting in the way of a 4 days course. Flexibility is offered. Example: The course dates will be split over two weekends and/or if you can only do 2 days one week, you can come back on the next course and complete it. Or join the second part on a weekend that the course is running. Hartmann Training will accommodate you as much as possible at no extra cost.

Q: Are there any requirement:

You are required to have a basic level of English literacy, language and numeracy.

Q: How much does the course cost?

The SIA Level 2 Door supervision course is £185. (this will include examination and certification fees.)

Q: How much does the SIA Licence cost?

The SIA Licence is £220. Please note that you will have to apply for it yourself once you have successfully completed the course and received your certificate.
